House is SOLD This is now our home
Prep for house sale took most of summer. Now we look to up grade our new residence. (Sandy Pond) by landscaping, removal of sheds and boathouse, adding two new storage sheds, a gazebo, new roof and siding, new windows, etc. .
We started by removing a few more trees.
Next we removed boathouse and shed. (Cabana must wait for new storage sheds to be built and set, as it is full.)
Our landscape expert, Chet, returns again to work his magic.
Some serious rain helps make a decision to get more crusher run and add a driveway for new storage sheds.
We also decide to use crusher run and build a spot up for the gazebo and add a pad near shore.
First shed arrives and is set.

Grass is starting to grow on new top soil
2nd Garage arrives..(We call then "The Twins")
I took a few days (4) and flew to a Coast Guard reunion in Charleston SC.
It was great and I did take a few picts. See Home page for link.
Phase II
We are now working on our little cottage. New roof, siding, widows, etc.
Rain continues. After our record wet summer, rains continued through August and September.
Although the rains still persist, work is progressing on our little cottage
We are finished for the year. Below you will see the blocks beneath and the ramp has been repaired. It does not show here, but a second gas tank has been added to keep heat on during the winter.
Next year we continue with the installation of our new custom exterior doors, cleanup and completion of landscaping, as well as new interior doors. The bottom blocks will be parged, and the Cabana removed.
