The picture below reminds us of the incompetent local postal clerk that assured us passport cards would 

 would allow us to fly into Canada. NOT!!  Thanks to 3 airline personnel, the efficiency of Canadian Customs,

 Jess and Matt  who managed to get a flight to the border, and a Canadian bus driver who held his bus for 20

minute and while we loaded our luggage and managed to get us to our ship in time.
