Deer Hunting 2007

I left on Friday and returned the next Wednesday. I only hunted

two days. Did I get a deer? Yes, but the pictures are very graphic and I will only show one.

Much time was spent in preparing Uncle Don's new 4-wheeler for the occasion, and Tank to get it there. I do not have pictures of the new trailer, the new tie-downs, the new carriers, gun holder, and back pack, but it is ready. Below Don tests it before he attacks the woods. Alongside is Hal making steaks and other meat products from my deer.

After the first day in the woods, we relaxed before going out to Phil's Chicken House. (Maybe it was after)

The second day in the woods, Jim Campbell one of Uncle Don's many nephews hunting there, (and owner

of the property we hunt on) came over to visit and check out the new 4-wheeler.

While I was there I visited my brother Roger's Business

The JUST IN TIME COMPANY

Co-workers, Cory and Bob, check out a computer Program

Joy stops by with an unsafe flasher. Her and Scott look on as Josh, Cory,

and Roger discuss the appropriate solution

Josh does the grunt work as two pretty pixies look on

As things get back to normal, the guys get back to work, My thanks to them for the

new set of feet for the hoist I acquired for the little boat.

Also during my stay, I looked up my cousin, Emerson Chandler and his wife

The nice looking couple below

We talked about each other, our families, and other mutual things in our lives.

It was two great visits and some in-site to my Chandler heritage.

I wish I had more time to spend, but time was short. I weighed anchor and headed for home. After a return trip which was similar to a preamble for Noah's voyage, I hydroplaned back to the Pond. The temperatures then plummeted as I now await the mailing of our keys to the Florida rental. Once they arrive, we will start South. I will place my last picture of the Pond below (taken yesterday) for your enjoyment.

Yep, that's ICE. (Max too)
