SANDY POND - Larson Sport Cruiser

Due to serious Dry Rot in our old Cruisers Inc, we have splurged on another old boat, a 25' Larson Sport Cruiser. See some pictures below.

It is "next year" 2008

The Larson has had a few problems. Some re-wiring, bad battery, flapper valves in engine allowed water into engine, (seized engine and had to remove and clean out) rebuilt electronic ignition, modified swim platform ladder to work, repaired deck hatches, repaired one water pump, rebuilt supports for new seat cushions, removed rusted marine battery charger, and rebuilt roller assembly and installed new tires on boat trailer. Also installed new cabin and courtesy lights and rear running light. Installed a windshield wiper. Installed new console cover and added adequate fuse block.

Still to do: Modify Camper top, finish installation of Depth Sounder, install Trim Tabs, fix Marine Radio, add new bilge pump, and repair hoist (Has broken cables and dropped boat twice)

As you can see below boat is running fine. Still needs trim tabs, a bottom wash, a bimini or camper top, and a compass for next year. 

Then if we can revamp the hoist

I have revised old canvas from Cruisers Inc to make a decent Bimini. Thanks to my brother and new custom sheaves, the hoist is working once again. I have decided not to add trim tabs at this time.
