A Sunday Walk at Sandy Pond Trying to get my body back to where it was before this Spring's bout with pneumonia and MRSA, I have been walking and running to the State Park beach and back. Yesterday being Sunday, I chose not to run and took my camera with me. I took four pictures. The first was when I reached the beach. The nuclear plan outside of Oswego. I still wonder if the advantages of clean energy in this form is worth the possibility of the disaster it could someday bring.
The second picture was a lonely Sea Doo at a dock in the creek between Big and Little Sandy Pond. Possibly the one that I towed in this summer.
The third picture was of a building of an old building of a memory over 50 years old and another of my Sandy Pond Stories. See My First
And finally, a picture taken at Jones Marina................... As I did not run, I extended my walk down Kiblin Shores Road out to Rt 15 towards Rt 3. At the Marina, with the Fall foliage in the background, and within the empty docks in the foreground, Old Glory was waving as proud as ever in these trying times. It was a memorable walk.
